Lauralyn (Laura) brings over 17 years of experience in the tech and creative industries, now focusing her expertise on the social impact sector. As an independent consultant, she empowers organisations through her skills in Branding, Content Creation, Marketing, Operations, Project Management, and User Experience Design.
A survivor of Online Gender-Based Violence (OGBV), Laura is a driving force for transformative social change. She led the "Am I A Feminist?" 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2022 campaign and contributed significantly to the "GenderNet" International Women's Day 2023 campaign as a member of the 30 for 2030 network, in partnership with the UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (UNWROAP). Her co-authorship of the second edition of the Youth Guide to Online Gender-Based Violence (OGBV) Toolkit is a testament to her commitment to combatting Gender-Based Violence (GBV) regionally.
In the #GenerationEquality Design Challenge, organised by the World Design Organization (WDO) and UNWROAP, Lauralyn demonstrated her talent for international collaboration, focusing on media solutions to prevent violence against women and girls. Her track record also includes enhancing audience engagement for a mental health social enterprise in Singapore (H.O.P.E. Alliance) and graphic design contributions at UNHCR Malaysia.
She is eager to connect with like-minded professionals and organisations, particularly those focused on projects that mainstream intersectional feminist issues.
